Stand up comedy in english! Yes, it is happening now! Haaska stand up produces the first stand up open mic in Kuopio at Pannuhuone 26th of february! Comedians build up and practice new jokes or get up on the stage for the first time. All comedians are selected beforehand.
The very first english comedy night will be hosted by Jamie MacDonald!
Jamie MacDonald is a Canadian-Finnish queer-transgender stand-up comedian who has been taking Finnish stages since 2004. Jamie’s artistic journey began in theater and performing arts. He eventually found his calling in stand-up comedy.
McDonald’s humor is friendly, yet sharp. His comedy moves smoothly between everyday and absurd topics. Jamie also dares to take a insightful approach to social issues. Social themes are skillfully brought to light through laughter. Jamie is a natural and confident performer who guarantees the audience a memorable and humorous experience when performing!
